Here are a couple of our longest running contracts that we'd like to share:


Name: Facilities Maintenance for the 412th Logistics Group at Edwards Air Force Base

Contract: Three 5-year contracts

Purpose: Provide building maintenance for over 100 facilities owned by the 412th Logistics Group at Edwards Air Force Base.

Services:

  • HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of equipment and systems
  • Maintenance of two aircraft paint facilities and a wash rack installed by the 412th LG.
  • Installations for tenant activity relocations and upgrades, primarily HVAC installations, electrical lights and receptacles, power and air to machinery, and door and window repairs and installations
  • Equipment Installations: backup generator, UPS systems, crane way, two dust collection systems, large ventilation modification to an aircraft paint booth, 200 hp air compressor installation, 1600 amp power feed for an autoclave, 48 floodlights on a hangar roof to illuminate an aircraft repair area in front of a hangar, machinery installations, and many large shop and office installations and reorganizations

Project Details: E&E has provided maintenance on over 100 facilities at Edwards Air Force Base, handling all maintenance and repair needed, excluding the building structure itself (there is no new construction involved).  Most of the facilities are small, but approximately 40 are large buildings, the largest over 1 million square feet. The buildings include offices, shops, hangars, aircraft repair facilities, aircraft paint facilities, aircraft wash racks, and jet engine test facilities.

E&E and the government facility management personnel have developed a synergistic team that is responsive and effective, providing quick accurate repairs, developing a high level of tenant activity satisfaction that feeds back up the chain of command. Throughout the contract, E&E has continued to display their commitment and capability to deliver low-cost, rapid, high quality, facility maintenance and other diverse projects for Air Force facilities at Edwards Air Force Base. The CPARS performance evaluations have been "Exceptional".

The first 5-year contract was so effective, that concurrent with the issuance of the second contract, the number of buildings covered by the contract was increased by almost 50% as maintenance programs were consolidated.


Name: Naval Medical Center San Diego

Contract: TBD

Purpose: Perform onsite maintenance and repairs for 25 Automatic Guided Vehicles (AGV) including Operational Systems, Remote Destination Panel (RDP), and Vehicle System Manager (VSM).

Services: Maintenance and repairs on 25 automated/robotic guided vehicles (AGV's), that run throughout the Hospital following radio beam systems in the floors and elevators, transporting medications and supplies on 76 Module carts that are carried by the AGV's. The AGV's are electronically controlled battery operated vehicles controlled by a master computer system called the Vehicle System Manager that is connected to remote destination panels, floor radio beacon zones, and elevator control panels. E&E is responsible for maintenance and repair of all system equipment. The current contract is the third AGV 5 year maintenance contract awarded to E & E Industries. The CPARS evaluation reports have been "Exceptional".

Project Details: The contractor shall provide on-site maintenance service of the twenty-five (25) AGVs, forty (40) AGV guide path panels, floor zone and elevator control panels, warning lights, seventy six (76) Large Storage Module Interface Carts, thirty (30) battery chargers, Remote Destination Panel (RDP) and Master Monitor Panels, Floor Mass Detectors, two (2) Video Monitors, eleven (11) fixed surveillance cameras and the Vehicle System Manager (VSM). The scope of work includes the furnishing of all labor, equipment, materials and parts to perform all service for the maintenance (preventive and corrective) of the AGVs and Module Interface Carts, hardware and software support for the Vehicle System Manager (VSM) to assure continued operation at their designed efficiency and capacity. Module Interface Carts Serial numbers are from one (1) through seventy six (76).
